The GAZETTEER tells you something about the various places mentioned and COMMUNITIES and MOORS will, eventually, give you more details than can be put on the gazetteer.

The GLOSSARY is intended to show you photographs of the various flora and fauna mentioned in the books - mainly for the benefit of those readers who do not live in the UK.

This is an organic exploration by which I mean that it is in a constant state of development and will never be properly finished in that there will always be something that could be added.

If there are any mistakes on the site or you feel that something important is missing, please don’t blame Marcia: this part of the site is all my work and so have a go at me instead! In all seriousness, if you do spot an error or want something added, please let me know and I will see what can be done.
